I'm back! At long last!

San Pedro will never cease to amaze me about how some things are just so damn stupid - you can't get angry. For nearly 4 weeks I have been unable to access google/gmail using my Mac. I have found out from the cable company who provide me with internet that the combination of Google/Mac and their services meant that all Mac users on the island were in the same position. Makes no sense to me at all. Anyway, today I can't access Hotmail so I thought I'd give Gmail a go, and lo and behold! it's working! I shall get back onto the blogging bit asap! Rob and Michelle are coming round with Cole and Birdy (and hopefully their stash of fish) to BBQ their catch, so see you soon on the airwaves.

Valentine's day sunset cruise (aka the booze cruise...)

What a giggle. Grab a pile of friends, put on boat, add beer.
The sunset cruise on board of Seaduction is becoming a firm favourite with us all. Here is the one from Valentine's day.
Ian was voted King Muppet: the instructions to all were, 4.45pm at Belize Yacht Club pier on board the large white catamaran.
At 5pm, we're all on the boat and still waiting for Ian. As we seem to be drinking at a much faster rate than anticipated, we phone Ian to ask him to bring more beer to the boat, but he tells us he's already on the boat! Great, but we can't find him. Everyone is searching but no Ian. We phone him back, he's already at sea and we're still moored - he's got on the wrong catamaran with a wedding party all in their sixties. The two captains radio each other and a changeover is agreed upon at sea. Ian makes a bold deathdefying leap from one catamaran to another and is now hailed as the new James Bond.

Palapa bar, Cornhole, Kelly McGuire, BBQ and torrential rain

So it's a lovely Sunday and we decide to drive up to the Palapa Bar, 1 mile north of the cut (well, actually we con Sharon into driving us up there coz we don't have a go cart...).
Beers, BBQ, cornhole and fun. Here's the pics.
Sharon left to see JD, and we figured we would make our own way home. Which we did, as Bob my neighbour had his boat at the bar too.
At about 5pm, we look out to sea, and see black black black clouds - we need to leave, and leave fast. We never made it home in time and got totally soaked. There was much squealing and giggling on the boat. And then another party happened at our place....

Mum's gone fishin' and happy birthday David

It was a lovely Sunday afternoon, and Bob came up and said "get ready, we're going fishing!" - so we hurtled around the house, packing up champagne, rum punch and beer. Then we remembered the fishing rods and life jackets.
Zac, Bob, Paul, Mum and I jumped in the boat and we were off looking for this new fishing spot Bob had heard of.
We never found it, never caught any fish and to top it off, we got lost in the dark on the way home! A fantastic afternoon was had by all and we made it home safe and sound!
Mum - thanks for bringing the champagne, no better place to drink it than floating round the lagoon! Cheers to David's birthday!!!!
