Yet another booze cruise

I know, I'm way behind on the blogging thing. We went out on a sunset cruise 2weeks with Sharon's family and of course, my mum.
Nothing to add - tons of fun and here's the pics.
As usual, I was so busy talking to people that I didn't see the sun actually set

.

Hoiking

Mum and I having dinner at Jack's. Can't believe I got grounded, look at those bottles of wine in front of mum! Maybe I should ground her...

When I lived at Jack's lovely little appartment next to the Tacoshack, mum and I would visit via the garden fence, as, of course, she was staying at the Tacoshack.
Jack, Rick and Gary (my roomies) learnt a new term: hoik.
Now these guys are "hoiking" all over the place....
Here is mum in full hoik over the fence

Where'd she go?

Pub Graffiti

This was on a pub wall in England, the first one of you lot that writes back the English translation, well I'll buy them a beer!
This is my favourite tongue twister...

Quantum materiae materietur marmota monax si marmota monax materiam possit materiari?

OK I owe Gail a beer next time she comes down. Paul and Laurie - nice try!

And yes, you were all correct, it was the woodchuck one.

Laughing

OK, I'm laughing quite a lot when I'm other people's company. Yesterday I laughed far too much, probably attributable to vast quantities of Sauvignon Blanc. I drank more yesterday on my day off than I have in absolutely years. Hence the reason I was grounded. Skydiver Dude and I went on a trip North, hijacked a kayak from a resort and paddled to the reef to snorkel. Sods Law: my snorkel was broken, so we paddled around for a while and then continued my "take no prisoners" assault on bottles of wine.
Lovely day.

Grounded!

Oh my, I'm in so much trouble. Mum has grounded me for tonight. I'm 37, and grounded. So, Skydiver Dude, thank you for a lovely day, it was tons of fun and now I'm going home....
