Lunar eclipse - San Pedro - 20 February 2008

What an amazing thing to see! Sitting on the beach in San Pedro, imagining what it would have been like to have seen that in ancient times without knowing what it was.
For us here in Belize the partial eclipse started at 7.43pm CST (-6GMT) and the total started at 9.01pm CST.
Unfortunately, just when the total eclipse started to clear at 9.51pm, it got pretty cloudy and then started to rain, so we abandoned the beach and our stargazing.
I have a cheap digital camera, not the most ideal piece of equipment to be taking pictures of the moon with, but here they are!
