As she is sitting next to me here in Herstmonceux Castle computer room, I now find out my main purpose - she doesn't have to take the telephone into the toilet with her, as I'm now here and can answer it for her.
I think I shall buy an answerphone, coz I don't think I can handle the weather.
Now she tells me she has 2 of those in the cupboard. A great place to have them. They are probably sitting next to the two mobile phones.....pffffffffff
